Abstract

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in February 2023 amounted to 102.96, an index increase of 1.52 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 101.42.

The NTP of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta in February 2023, reached 102.96, an index increase of 1.52 percent compared to the previous month of 101.42. The NTP of food crops subsector was 103.19; horticulture subsector 125.61; smallholder plantation crops subsector 98.77; livestock subsector 96.15; and fisheries subsector 92.21.

The increase in the combined NTP index this month was due to the increase in two subsectors, namely: food crops by 2.98 percent, horticulture by 0.62 percent. While three subsectors fell, namely: smallholder plantations by 0.18 percent, livestock by 1.05 percent, and fisheries by 0.39 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta in February 2023 was recorded at 104.45, an increase of 1.71 percent compared to the previous month of 102.69.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for rural areas in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta in February 2023 generally reached 119.56, experiencing inflation of 0.46 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 119.01.

Of the 34 provinces in February 2023, 24 provinces experienced an increase, and 10 provinces experienced a decrease. The highest increase in NTP occurred in South Sumatra by 2.41 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Bangka Belitung by 2.25 percent.
