Abstract

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in April 2023 amounted to 102.90, up 0.74 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 102.14.

The NTP of the Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta in April 2023, reached 102.90, up 0.74 percent compared to the previous month of 102.14. The NTP of food crops subsector was 101.79; horticulture subsector 127.68; smallholder plantation crops subsector 102.79; livestock subsector 97.46; and fisheries subsector 91.91.

The increase in the combined NTP index this month was influenced by the increase in three subsectors, namely: food crops by 1.16 percent, smallholder plantation crops by 1.30 percent, and livestock by 0.01 percent. While two subsectors fell, namely: horticulture by 0.09 percent, and fisheries by 0.11 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta in April 2023 was recorded at 104.66, up 0.61 percent compared to the previous month of 104.02.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for rural areas in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta in April 2023 generally reached 120.27, experiencing deflation of 0.06 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 120.35.

Of the 34 provinces in April 2023, 18 provinces increased, and 16 provinces decreased. The highest increase in NTP occurred in South Sumatra by 1.50 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Riau by 2.42 percent.
