Abstract

June 2023, Yogyakarta's year on year (y-o-y) inflation was 4.20 percent.
In June 2023 there was year on year (y-on-y) inflation of 4.20 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 117.47.
Inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase of
most of the expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 4.70 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 2.09 percent; the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 2.23 percent; the household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance group by 2.04 percent; the health group by 5.08 percent; the transportation group by 8.49 percent; the recreation, sports and culture group by 1.76 percent; the education group by 3.92 percent; the food and beverage/restaurant supply group by
food and beverages/restaurants by 4.90 percent; and personal care and other services by 4.94 percent. While the group that experienced a decrease in the index was the information, communication, and financial services group by -0.34 percent.
The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate in June 2023 was 0.02 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate in June 2023 was 1.64 percent.
