Abstract

The Gender Inequality Index of D.I. Yogyakarta in 2022 is 0.240, a decrease of 0.010 points compared to 2021.The decrease in gender inequality occurred in Kulon Progo, Sleman, and Yogyakarta City.

The Gender Inequality Index of D.I. Yogyakarta in 2022 amounted to 0.240, a decrease of 0.010 points compared to 2021 which amounted to 0.250.

The decline in the Gender Inequality Index is mainly influenced by

improvement in the reproductive health dimension.

The improvement in the reproductive health dimension is influenced by the improvement in the indicator of women giving birth not in health facilities, which fell from 1.9 percent in 2021 to 1.6 percent in 2022.
