Abstract

  • DIY Economy in Q4-2023 grew 5.07 Percent (C-to-C)
  • DIY Economy in Q4-2023 grew 4.86 Percent (Y-on-Y)
  • DIY economy in the fourth quarter of 2023 grew 2.90 percent (Q-to-Q)
  • The economy of Yogyakarta Special Region based on the amount of Product
  • Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in the fourth quarter of 2023 reached Rp46.60 trillion and at constant 2010 prices reached Rp30.40 trillion.
  • The DIY economy during 2023 grew by 5.07 percent (c-to-c). The highest growth was achieved by the Financial and Insurance Services Business Field. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Consumption Expenditure Component of Non-Profit Institutions (LNPRT).
  • DIY economy in the fourth quarter of 2023 against the fourth quarter of 2022 grew by 4.86 percent (y-on-y). The highest growth was achieved by the Electricity and Gas Procurement Business Field. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Consumption Expenditure Component of Non-Profit Institutions.
  • Compared to the third quarter of 2023, the DIY economy grew by 2.90 percent (q-to-q). The highest-growing business field was Other Services, followed by the Provision of Accommodation and Drinking Food. In terms of expenditure, it was mainly driven by the growth of Government Consumption and Consumption Expenditure of Non-Profit Institutions.
  • The structure of the DIY economy in 2023 is dominated by the Processing Industry, Agriculture, and Accommodation & Drinking Food Business Fields with a contribution of 11.82 percent, 10.23 percent, and 10.18 percent, respectively. While in terms of expenditure, Household Consumption Expenditure still dominates with a contribution of 61.90 percent, followed by Gross Fixed Capital Formation 33.17 percent, and Government Consumption Expenditure 14.16 percent.
