Abstract

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of Yogyakarta Special Region in January 2024 amounted to 106.78, up 1.05 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 105.67.
The producer price of grain at the farm level in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in January 2024 for the quality of Milled Dry Grain (GKG) amounted to Rp 7,716.67 per kg, up 2.53 percent compared to the previous month at Rp 7,526.32 per kg. The quality of harvested dry grain (GKP) decreased by 2.69 percent, from Rp 6,655.00 per kg to 6,476.00 per kg in January 2024.
The NTP for the Special Region of Yogyakarta in January 2024 reached 106.78, up 1.05 percent compared to the previous month of 105.67. The Farmer Exchange Rate of food crops subsector was 109.28; horticulture subsector was 123.17; smallholder plantation crops subsector was 104.30; livestock subsector was 96.93; and fisheries subsector was 89.66.
The increase in the combined NTP index this month was influenced by the increase in three subsectors, namely: food crops by 2.84 percent, smallholder plantation crops by 0.24 percent, and livestock by 0.20 percent. While two subsectors fell, namely horticulture by 5.82 and fisheries by 0.66 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in January 2024 was recorded at 109.69, up 0.09 percent compared to the previous month of 109.60.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for rural areas in Yogyakarta Special Region in January 2024 generally reached 124.13, experiencing deflation of 0.64 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 124.93.
Of the 38 provinces in January 2024, NTP in 21 provinces increased while 17 provinces decreased. The highest increase in NTP occurred in North Sulawesi by 2.69 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in North Kalimantan by 1.05 percent.
The highest farm-gate price for GKG quality grain at IDR 7,900 per kg with Inpari, IR-64, Ciherang, and Situ Bagendit varieties was found in Sleman Regency. The highest price at the farmer level for GKP quality grain is IDR 6,800 per kg with the Mapan and Supadi varieties found in Kulon Progo District. The lowest price of grain at the farmer level is IDR 6,200 per kg for GKP quality grain with Ciherang and Mekongga varieties in Bantul Regency.
During January 2024, the average price of GKG at the farm level was IDR 7,716.67 per kg, an increase of 2.53 percent, and at the milling level IDR 7,808.33 per kg, an increase of 2.6 percent.
