Abstract

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in April 2024 was 103.01, down 4.05 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 107.35.
The producer price of paddy at the farmer level in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in April 2024 for the quality of Dry Milled Paddy (GKG) was IDR 6,902.44 per kg, down 10.36 percent compared to the previous month of IDR 7,700.00 per kg. The quality of Harvested Dry Paddy (GKP) fell by 12.30 percent, from IDR 6,593.55 per kg to 5,782.76 per kg in April 2024.
The NTP of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in April 2024 reached 103.01, down 4.05 percent compared to the previous month of 107.35. The Farmer Exchange Rate for the food crop sub-sector was 100.03; horticulture subsector 125.06; smallholder plantation subsector 109.52; livestock subsector 101.51; and fisheries subsector 89.25.
The decrease in the combined NTP index this month was influenced by the decline in one subsector, namely: food crops by 7.63 percent. Meanwhile, four subsectors increased, namely horticulture by 1.35 percent, smallholder plantation crops by 2.62 percent, livestock by 0.48 percent, and fisheries by 0.31 percent.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in April 2024 was recorded at 107.13, down 4.13 percent compared to the previous month of 111.75.
The rural Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in April 2024 generally reached 128.01, experiencing inflation of 0.09 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 127.90.
Of the 38 provinces in April 2024, the NTP in 22 provinces increased while 16 provinces decreased. The highest increase in NTP occurred in West Sulawesi at 6.81 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Banten at 6.31 percent.
The highest price of grain at the farmer level for GKG quality grain worth IDR 7,600.00 per kg with the Mekongga variety was in Sleman Regency. The highest price at the farmer level for GKP quality grain worth IDR 6,200.00 per kg with the Inpari and Situ Bagendit varieties was in Bantul Regency. The lowest price of grain at the farmer level worth IDR 4,400.00 per kg for GKP quality grain with the Inpari variety was in Kulon Progo Regency.
During April 2024, the average GKG price at the farmer level was IDR 6,902.44 per kg, down 10.36 percent, and at the milling level IDR 6,996.34 per kg, down 10.19 percent. The average price of GKP at the farmer level was IDR 5,782.76 per kg, down 12.30 percent, and at the milling level IDR 5,839.66 per kg, down 12.15 percent compared to the price of the same quality of grain in the previous month. The average price of non-quality grain in this period was absent because there was no non-quality grain in all observation units.
Grain based on varieties produced and sold by farmers in April 2024, Ciherang variety was 28.57 percent, IR-64 was 24.29 percent, Inpari was 18.57 percent, Situ Bagendit was 10.00 percent, Mekongga was 8.57 percent, Mentik Wangi and Supadi were 2.86 percent each, Cakrabuana Agritan, Cimalaya, and Memberamo were 1.43 percent each.
