Abstract

In July 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Gunungkidul Regency of 2.08 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 104.96.
The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 4.82 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.98 percent; household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group by 1.77 percent; health group by 2.75 percent; transportation group by 0.03 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 1.72 percent; education group by 1.02 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 0.38 percent; and personal care and other services group by 4.82 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in the index were: housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.06 percent; and the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.16 percent.
The month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation rate in Gunungkidul Regency in July 2024 was 0.05 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate in Gunungkidul Regency in July 2024 was 0.08 percent.
