Production Growth of Large and Medium Industries and Micro and Small Industries in Q4 2018

Abstract

Production growth of the Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry (IBS) D.I. Yogyakarta (q-to-q) in the fourth quarter of 2018 against the third quarter of 2018 experienced positive growth of 9.54 percent. This is in line with the growth of large and medium manufacturing industry production at the national level which also grew positively by 0.90 percent.

Production growth of the Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry (IBS) of D.I. Yogyakarta on a (y-on-y) basis in the fourth quarter of 2018 against the fourth quarter of 2017 increased by 3.37 percent. The increase in production growth in D.I. Yogyakarta was lower than the growth rate at the national level, which grew by 3.90 percent.

Production growth of Micro and Small Industries (IMK) of D.I. Yogyakarta in the fourth quarter of 2018 against the third quarter of 2018 (q-to-q) experienced negative growth, which amounted to -2.54 percent. The growth in the fourth quarter of 2018 was opposite to the growth rate of micro and small industry production at the national level which actually experienced negative growth of 1.24 percent.

Production growth of the Micro and Small Industry (IMK) of D.I. Yogyakarta in the fourth quarter of 2018 against the fourth quarter of 2017 (y-on-y) also experienced positive growth, which amounted to 0.58 percent. The increase in production growth in D.I. Yogyakarta is far below the growth rate at the national level, which grew by 5.38 percent.
