Abstract

The NTP of D.I. Yogyakarta in June 2019 reached 104.49, a decrease of 0.03 percent compared to the previous month's index of 104.53. The NTP of Food Crops Subsector was recorded at 108.22; the NTP of Horticulture Subsector was 103.99; the NTP of Smallholder Plantation Crops Subsector was 120.14; the NTP of Livestock Subsector was 91.66; and the NTP of Fisheries Subsector was 103.11.
The decline in the combined NTP index this month was caused by a decrease in the smallholder plantation crops subsector by 1.92 percent, the livestock subsector by 0.01 percent, and the fisheries subsector by 0.79 percent. While the food crop subsector increased by 0.76 percent, and the horticulture subsector also increased by 0.62 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of D.I. Yogyakarta in June 2019 amounted to 114.49 or decreased by 0.04 percent compared to May of 114.53.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for rural areas in D.I. Yogyakarta in June 2019 generally reached 140.73 or experienced inflation of 0.39 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 140.18.
From 33 provinces whose NTP figures were calculated in June 2019, 13 provinces experienced an increase, and 20 other provinces experienced a decrease. The highest increase in NTP occurred in NTB by 1.43 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Riau by 3.12 percent.
