Production Growth of Large and Medium Manufacturing Industries (IBS) and Micro and Small Industries (IMK) in the Second Quarter of 2019

Abstract

Production growth of the Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry (IBS) of D.I. Yogyakarta (q-to-q) in the second quarter of 2019 against the first quarter of 2019 experienced negative growth of -2.12 percent. This is in line with the production growth of the large and medium manufacturing industries at the national level which also grew negatively by -1.91 percent.
Production growth of the Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry (IBS) of D.I. Yogyakarta on a (y-on-y) basis in the second quarter of 2019 against the second quarter of 2018 increased by 20.72 percent. The increase in production growth in D.I. Yogyakarta was higher than the growth rate at the national level, which grew by 3.62 percent.
Production growth of Micro and Small Industries (IMK) of D.I. Yogyakarta in the second quarter of 2019 against the first quarter of 2019 (q-to-q) experienced negative growth, which amounted to -2.98 percent. The growth in the second quarter of 2019 was opposite to the growth rate of micro and small industry production at the national level which grew positively by 0.24 percent.
Production growth of the Micro and Small Industry (IMK) of D.I. Yogyakarta in the second quarter of 2019 against the second quarter of 2018 (y-on-y) also experienced a slight increase, which amounted to 0.60 percent. The increase in production growth in D.I. Yogyakarta was lower than the growth rate at the national level, which grew by 5.52 percent.
