Abstract

Yogyakarta City in February 2021 experienced inflation of 0.14 percent due to an increase in the consumer price index of the food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.62 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.05 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.15 percent; household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.01 percent; health group by 0.43 percent; information, communication and financial services group by 0.09 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 0.15 percent; education group by 0.05 percent; and food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 0.01 percent.

Groups that experienced deflation were the transportation group by 0.21 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 0.33 percent.
90 cities calculated inflation figures, 56 CPI cities experienced inflation and 34 CPI cities experienced deflation.
The calendar inflation rate (February 2021 against December 2020) was 0.68 percent and the year on year inflation rate (February 2021 against February 2020) was 1.41 percent.
