Abstract

The NTP of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in March 2021 reached 97.05, a decrease of 1.22 percent compared to the previous month's index which was recorded at 98.25. The NTP of the Food Crops Subsector was recorded at 94.07; NTP Horticulture Subsector 116.98; NTP of the People's Plantation Sub-sector 110.56; NTP Livestock Subsector 93.27; and NTP Fisheries Subsector 94.12.

The decline in the combined FTT index this month was due to a decrease in the food crops sub-sector by 2.19 percent, the livestock sub-sector by 0.27 percent, and fisheries by 2.47 percent, while 2 sub-sectors experienced an increase, namely: horticulture by 1.05 percent, and the sub-sector people's plantation crops by 0.47 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in March 2021 was 97.35, down 1.30 compared to February of 98.63.

The rural Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in March 2021 generally reached 108.27, experiencing a deflation of 0.09 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 108.37.

Of the 34 provinces in March 2021, 22 provinces experienced an increase, and 12 other provinces experienced a decrease. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Bangka Belitung by 3.93 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in West Nusa Tenggara by 1.84 percent.
