Abstract

The export value of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in March 2021 reached US$47.3 million, an increase of 2.16 percent compared to exports in February 2021. Cumulatively, the export value from January to March 2021 reached US$132.5 million, an increase of 22.35 percent compared to the same period in 2020. .
The largest export in March 2021 was sent to the United States, which was US$16.2 million. Followed by Japan and Germany each with US $ 3.6 million. During January-March 2021, the contribution of the three countries reached 54.26 percent.
Non-Knitted Garments (62); Furniture, Home Lighting (94); and Knitted Goods (61) are the three commodity groups with the highest export value in March 2021. Each amounting to US$14.8 million; US$6.9 million; and US$4.0 million.
The import value of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in March 2021 reached 11.8 million, an increase of 34.09 percent compared to February 2021. Cumulatively, the import value from January to March 2021 reached US$35.9 million, an increase of 19.27 percent compared to the same period 2020.
The largest supplier of imported goods in March 2021 was Hong Kong with a value of US$2.9 million. Then followed by China US $ 2.5 million; and Papua New Guinea US$2.1 million.
Artificial Filament (54); Coffee, Tea, Spices (09); and Layered Woven Fabrics (59) are the top three groups of imported commodities in March 2021 with US$2.4 million each; US$2.1 million; and US$1.1 million.
