Abstract

The export value of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in February 2021 reached US$46.3 million, an increase of 18.72 percent compared to exports in January 2021. Cumulatively, the export value from January to February 2021 reached US$85.2 million, an increase of 14.67 percent over the same period in 2020. .

The largest export in February 2021 was sent to the United States, which was US$17.9 million. Followed by Germany US $ 4.8 million and Japan US $ 4.4 million. During January-February 2021, the contribution of the three countries reached 56.81 percent.

Non-Knitted Garments (62); Furniture, Home Lighting (94); and Leather Goods (42) are the three commodity groups with the highest export value in February 2021. Each amounting to US$14.2 million; US$7.2 million; and US$4.6 million.

The import value of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in February 2021 reached 8.8 million, down 42.48 percent compared to January 2021. Cumulatively, the import value from January to February 2021 reached US$24.1 million, an increase of 15.87 percent over the same period 2020.

The largest supplier of imported goods in February 2021 was China with a value of US$3.7 million. Then followed by Hong Kong US $ 2.1 million; and Taiwan US$0.8 million.

Artificial Filament (54); Special Woven Fabrics (58); and Machinery/Mechanical Aircraft (84) are the top three groups of imported commodities in February 2021 amounting to US$1.4 million each; US$1.1 million; and US$1.0 million.
