Abstract

The export value of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in April 2021 reached US$44.1 million, down 6.57 percent compared to exports in March 2021. Cumulatively, the export value from January to April 2021 reached US$176.5 million, an increase of 34.02 percent compared to the same period in 2020. .

The largest export in April 2021 was sent to the United States, namely US $ 16.5 million. Followed by Japan at US$4.4 million and then Australia at US$2.9 million. During January-April 2021, the contribution of the three countries reached 53.97 percent. • Non-Knitted Garments (62); Furniture, Home Lighting (94); and Knitted Goods (61) are the three commodity groups with the highest export value in April 2021. Each amounting to US$14.1 million; US$7.3 million; and US$4.4 million.

The import value of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in April 2021 reached 13.9 million, an increase of 17.80 percent compared to March 2021. Cumulatively, the import value from January to April 2021 reached US$49.7 million, an increase of 40.48 percent compared to the same period 2020.

The largest supplier of imported goods in April 2021 was China with a value of US$5.2 million. Then followed by the United States US $ 2.7 million; and Hong Kong US$2.6 million.

The top three imported commodity groups in April 2021 were Artificial Filaments (54) and Railway Locomotives and Equipment (86) with US$1.9 million each. Then the Layered Woven Fabric (59) for US$1.5 million.
