Abstract

  • September 2022 inflation amounted to 1.05 percent. The biggest contributor to inflation was gasoline, which increased by 23.89 percent.
  • Yogyakarta City in September 2022 experienced inflation of 1.05 percent due to an increase in the consumer price index of the clothing and footwear group by 0.28 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.01 percent; household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.31 percent; health group by 0.78 percent; transportation group by 6.42 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 0.13 percent; education group by 0.37 percent; food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 1.25 percent; and personal care and other services group by 0.31 percent. Meanwhile, the food group and the information, communication, and financial services group experienced a decrease in the index of -0.49 percent and -0.01 percent, respectively.
  • 90 cities calculated inflation figures, 88 cities experienced inflation and 2 cities experienced deflation.
  • The calendar inflation rate (September 2022 against December 2021) was 5.33 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (September 2022 against September 2021) was 6.81 percent.
