The producer price of grain at the farm level in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in August 2023 for the quality of Milled Dry Grain (GKG) amounted to IDR 5,865.71, up 3.99 percent compared to the previous month of IDR 5,640.74. The quality of harvested dry grain (GKP) increased by 2.28 percent, from IDR 4,817.95 to IDR 4,928.00 in August 2023.
The highest farm-gate price for GKG quality grain at IDR 6,300 per kg with the Ciherang variety was found in Sleman Regency. The highest price at the farmer level for GKP quality grain at IDR 5,000 per kg with Ciherang, Inpari, and IR-64 varieties is found in Bantul and Kulon Progo districts. The lowest farm-gate grain price of IDR 4,800 per kg for GKP quality grain with Ciherang, IR-64 and Situ Bagendit varieties is found in Bantul and Kulon Progo districts.During August 2023, the average price of GKG at the farm level was IDR 5,865.71 per kg, an increase of 3.99 percent, and at the milling level IDR 5,958.57 per kg, an increase of 4.00 percent. The average price of GKP at the farm level was IDR 4,928.00 per kg, up 2.28 percent, and at the milling level IDR 4,978.00 per kg, up 2.15 percent compared to the price of the same quality grain in the previous month. The price of out-of-quality grain in this period does not exist because there is no out-of-quality grain in the entire observation.Grain by variety produced and sold by farmers in August 2023, IR-64 varieties accounted for 36.67 percent, Ciherang for 33.33 percent, Inpari for 13.33 percent, Mekongga for 10.00 percent, and other varieties for 6.67 percent.
