Abstract

The Farmer Term of Trade (NTP) in September 2023 amounted to 105.55, up 2.09 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 103.38.

The NTP of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta in September 2023 reached 105.55, up 2.09 percent compared to the previous month of 103.38. The NTP of food crops subsector was 106.39; horticulture subsector 120.08; smallholder plantation crops subsector 105.45; livestock subsector 99.51; and fisheries subsector 91.30.

The increase in the combined NTP index this month was influenced by the increase in two subsectors, namely: food crops by 4.59 percent and smallholder plantation crops by 2.06 percent. While three subsectors fell: horticulture 3.85 percent, livestock 1.11 percent, and fisheries 0.25 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Term of Trade (NTUP) of Term of Trade in September 2023 was recorded at 107.48, an increase of 1.90 percent compared to the previous month of 105.48. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for rural areas in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta in September 2023 generally reached 120.95, experiencing deflation of 0.10 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 121.07.

Of the 34 provinces in September 2023, 28 provinces increased, and 6 provinces decreased. The highest increase in NTP occurred in West Sulawesi by 4.17 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in DKI Jakarta by 1.40 percent.
