Abstract

The NTP of D.I. Yogyakarta in May 2019 reached 104.53, an increase of 2.01 percent compared to the previous month's index of 102.46. The NTP of Food Crops Subsector was recorded at 107.41; the NTP of Horticulture Subsector was 103.35; the NTP of People's Plantation Crops Subsector was 122.49; the NTP of Livestock Subsector was 91.67; and the NTP of Fisheries Subsector was 103.93.
The increase in the combined NTP index this month was due to the increase in the food crop subsector by 1.00 percent, the horticulture subsector by 1.97 percent, the smallholder plantation crop subsector by 5.12 percent, the livestock subsector by 0.93 percent, and the fisheries subsector by 1.52 percent. Household Business Exchange Rate. Agriculture (NTUP) of D.I. Yogyakarta in May 2019 amounted to 114.53 or increased by 1.67 percent compared to April at 112.65.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for rural areas in the D.I. Yogyakarta in May 2019 generally reached 140.18 or experienced deflation of 0.33 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 140.65. - Of the 33 provinces whose NTP figures were calculated in May 2019, 17 provinces experienced an increase, and 16 other provinces experienced a decrease. The highest increase in NTP occurred in D.I.Yogyakarta by 2.01 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in NAD by 2.10 percent.
