Abstract

The value of exports of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in June 2020 reached US $ 25.1 million, up 17.29 percent compared to exports in May 2020. Cumulatively, the value of exports from January to June 2020 reached US $ 178.3 million, down 8.94 percent over the same period in 2019 .
The biggest export was sent to the United States, which was US $ 7.2 million. Followed by Germany with US $ 3.5 million and Japan with US $ 1.9 million. As of June 2020 the third contribution was 54.41 percent.
Non-Knitted Garments (62); Furniture, Home Lighting (94); and Leather goods (42) are the three commodity groups with the highest export value in June 2020 each of US $ 8.5 million; US $ 4.4 million; and US $ 1.9 million.
The value of imports of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in June 2020 reached US $ 8.2 million, down 38.35 percent compared to May 2020. Cumulatively, the import value from January to June 2020 reached US $ 56.8 million, up 41.65 percent over the same period in 2019 .
The biggest supplier of imported goods during June 2020 is Papua New Guinea with a value of US $ 3.1 million. Then followed by China US $ 2.0 million; and Hong Kong US $ 1.3 million.
Coffee, Tea, Spices (09); Artificial Filament (54); and Special Woven Fabrics (58) are the three major commodity groups with import values in June 2020 each of US $ 3.1 million; US $ 1.1 million; and US $ 0.7 million.
