Abstract

  • The export value of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in October 2021 reached US$48.7 million, an increase of 6.56 percent compared to exports in September 2021. Compared to October 2020, the export value increased by 17.35 percent.
  • Cumulatively, the export value of the Special Region of Yogyakarta from January to October 2021 reached US$437.2 million, an increase of 37.01 percent over the same period in 2020.
  • The largest export in October 2021 was to the United States at US$22.2 million, followed by Australia at US$4.2 million and Japan at US$3.4 million, with the contribution of the three reaching 61.19 percent. Meanwhile, exports to ASEAN and the European Union amounted to US$1.1 million and US$11.1 million, respectively.
  • The largest increase in exports from October 2021 to September 2021 occurred in non-knitted garments of US$2.7 million (20.61 percent). Meanwhile, the biggest decline occurred in paper/cardboard of US$1.1 million (37.93 percent).
  • According to sector, exports of processing industry products from January to October 2021 rose 37.27 percent compared to the same period in 2020. Meanwhile, exports of agricultural products rose 12.12 percent.
  •  According to the province for shipping goods, the largest exports of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in October 2021 were sent via Central Java with a value of US$26.5 million (54.41 percent), followed by DKI Jakarta with US$20.0 million (41.07 percent) and East Java with US$2. .2 million (4.52 percent).
