Abstract

The NTP of DI Yogyakarta in March 2022 reached 99.65, an index increase of 0.33 percent compared to the previous month of 99.33. The NTP of food crops subsector was 96.36; horticulture subsector 118.61; smallholder plantation crops subsector 118.93; livestock subsector 95.78; and fisheries subsector 92.80.
The increase in the combined NTP index this month was due to the increase in two subsectors, namely: horticulture 2.48 percent, and livestock 4.45 percent. While three subsectors decreased, namely: food crops 1.39 percent, smallholder plantation crops 1.23 percent and fisheries by 0.41 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of DI Yogyakarta in March 2022 was recorded at 100.32, an increase of 1.21 percent compared to the previous month of 99.13.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for rural areas in DI Yogyakarta in March 2022 generally reached 112.25, an inflation of 1.46 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 110.63.
Of the 34 provinces in March 2022, 22 provinces experienced an increase, 11 provinces experienced a decrease, and 1 province did not change. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Riau by 3.56 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Banten by 1.70 percent.
