Abstract

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in August 2022 amounted to 98.12, an index increase of 1.26 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 96.90.
The NTP of D.I. Yogyakarta in August 2022, reached 98.12, an index increase of 1.26 percent compared to the previous month of 96.90. The NTP of food crops subsector was 91.82; horticulture subsector was 131.48; smallholder plantation crops subsector was 104.58; livestock subsector was 99.70; and fisheries subsector was 93.44.
The increase in the combined NTP index this month was due to the increase in three subsectors, namely: food crops 4.30 percent, livestock 0.63 percent, and fisheries 1.59 percent. While two subsectors decreased, namely: horticulture by 7.08 percent, and smallholder plantation crops by 4.21 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of D.I. Yogyakarta in August 2022 was recorded at 98.67, a decrease of 0.31 percent compared to the previous month of 98.98.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for rural areas in D.I. Yogyakarta in August 2022 generally reached 115.34, experiencing deflation of 1.91 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 117.58.
Of the 34 provinces in August 2022, 27 provinces experienced an increase, and 7 provinces experienced a decrease. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Riau by 12.63 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Riau Islands by 1.34 percent.
