Abstract

  • DIY economy in the third quarter of 2022 grew 5.82 percent (Y-on-Y)
  • DIY economy in the third quarter of 2022 grew 0.42 percent (Q-to-Q)
  • DIY economy in the third quarter of 2022 grew 4.68 percent (C-to-C)
  • The economy of D.I. Yogyakarta based on the amount of Product
  • Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in the third quarter of 2022 reached Rp41.51 trillion and at constant 2010 prices reached Rp28.03 trillion.
  • The DIY economy in the third quarter of 2022 against the third quarter of 2021 grew by 5.82 percent (y-on-y). The highest growth was achieved by Other Services at 28.26 percent, followed by transportation and warehousing, and provision of accommodation and eating and drinking, 24.96 percent and 20.22 percent respectively. In terms of expenditure, the foreign export component and consumption expenditure of non-profit institutions serving households were recorded as the first and second highest growth components, with growth of 10.34 percent and 8.80 percent respectively.
  • Compared to the second quarter of 2022, the DIY economy grew 0.42 percent (q-to-q). The business field that grew the highest was construction at 10.16 percent, followed by education services at 7.97 percent, government administration, defense, and mandatory social security at 4.66 percent. In terms of expenditure, the component with the highest growth was PMTB at 2.90 percent, and government consumption expenditure at 2.81 percent.
  • The structure of the DIY economy in the third quarter of 2022 was dominated by the processing industry 11.86 percent, construction 10.45 percent, information and communication 10.40 percent, agriculture 9.44 percent, and provision of accommodation and food and drink 9.43 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the largest contribution was recorded in the household consumption component, which was 61.41 percent, followed by the gross fixed capital formation component of 32.28 percent.
