Imports in June 2024 were valued at US$13.15 million, down 13.26 percent compared to the previous month.
The export value of D.I. Yogyakarta in June 2024 reached US$44.45 million or up 2.35 percent compared to May 2024. Compared to June 2023, the export value increased by 7.84 percent.
The largest exports in June 2024 were to the United States, namely US$19.21 million, followed by Germany at US$5.38 million, and Japan at US$3.47 million. The contribution of the three reached 63.13 percent. Meanwhile, exports to the European Union were US$10.34 million and ASEAN was US$1.00 million.
The largest increase in exports in June 2024 compared to May 2024 occurred in knitted goods at US$1.70 million. On the other hand, the biggest decrease was essential oils, perfumed cosmetics at US$2.67 million.
By sector, agricultural exports in June 2024 rose 33.33 percent compared to May 2024. Meanwhile, exports of processed industrial products rose 2.24 percent. Compared to June 2023, agricultural exports rose 33.33 percent, while exports of processed industrial products rose 7.74 percent.
By loading port province, the largest exports of D.I. Yogyakarta in June 2024 were sent via Central Java at 70.69 percent, followed by DKI Jakarta at 26.82 percent, D.I. Yogyakarta at 1.26 percent, East Java at 1.03 percent, and other ports at 0.20 percent.
