Development of Grain Producer Price in December 2021

Abstract

In December 2021, the number of grain observations was 76 transactions, consisting of 29 observations (38.16 percent) of Milled Dry Grain (MDG), 4 observations (5.26 percent) of Harvested Dry Grain (PKP) and 43 observations (56.58 percent) of Non-Quality Grain.
The highest grain price at the farmer level was IDR 5,200 per kg for GKG quality grain with the IR 64 variety in Bambanglipuro sub-district, Bantul district. On the other hand, the lowest grain price at the farmer's level was Rp. 3,900.00 per kg for unhusked grain with IR 64 and Ciherang varieties, which occurred in Jetis and Sewon sub-districts, Bantul regency, and Lendah sub-district, Kulon Progo regency.
The results of grain observations based on varieties produced and sold by farmers in December 2021 IR 64 varieties were 57.90%, Ciherang 30.26%, Mekongga 5.26% and other varieties as much as 6.58%.
In December 2021, there were observations of grain prices below the HPP as much as 35.53 percent in GKG quality grain.
